last summer during the vacation I went to 贵州 province. At one point we went deep into the mountains to a place called the shuiying river. It's in a huge gorge. We walked up the river for many hours. in many places you can wade in the water.where the water was too deep we swam. eventually we pumped some inner tubes full of air and floated back down the river. It was very beautiful. So much of the Western countryside in China is like that. Rich Green foliage, mist, crystal clear rivers nestled in deep gorges. This is a picture of our guide.
